Why does the passive tree change for Sorceress?? Needlessly confusing

Is the Sorc the only class that has its starting passive points changed?
I dont think I have seen any other class so far CHANGE the passive tree nodes.. which got me thinking.. is this a bug from internal beta testing days that never got changed back or twig added for these nodes? Mathils actual cat Last bumped on Jun 1, 2025, 2:34:23 AM

Probably because we have currently only Sorc and Witch that share a starting point.
Ah, pardon, 0.2.0 happened, so Huntress and Ranger also start from the same point. Yeah, they also have different starting passives. I guess, it's intentional. |

And why witch and sorceress has identical face and body? Same as both rangers....

The Witch and the Sorceress are ultimately the same class, all that changes is the Ascendancies.
Well, at the end this is true for all classes. But don't mind me. |

It's a game design choice because both start from the same area and are meant to specialize in different aspects of Magic Elemental for Sorceress and Occult for Witch.

It's intentional, same thing happens with huntress and ranger, and tbh i really don't like that
