Got new computer and would like to transfer my game settings

I would like to bring my settings from my old computer over to the new one.

My Key Binds mainly. Not the Graphics Settings thought because this new computer is vastly better than the old one and I can't wait to finally crank the Graphics up! I've been playing on 1280x768 or whatever and still was only getting low 20fps. In crazy spots with lots of monster my fps would drop to single digits!!

No more! LOL!!

I really just want my keybinds. Is there a file I can copy from the old comp to the new? And I have Item Filters saved to this account but they weren't showing when I logged in on the new computer. I even checked this website just now to make sure the filters were showing up and they were on this site but not in game. Is there a setting I need to check?

Thanks for any help! Much Appreciated,
Lax

Just need help getting my key binds moved over.

Thanks,

Congrats on the new PC!

Open File Explorer on your old PC, and copy 'n' paste the following into its address bar;

%HOMEPATH%\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

You'll see a file called production_Config.ini

The good news is that this has the keybinds you're after. The bad news is that it also has the graphics settings that you don't. Transfer this file to your new PC however you want to.

On the new PC, open the old file in Notepad.

On the new PC, WHILE THE GAME CLIENT IS NOT RUNNING, open the new file in Notepad. Copy and paste everything in the [ACTION_KEYS] section from the old one so that it replaces that section in the new one (or just delete that section from the new one first).

The first line after that section is most likely going to be [CACHED_DATA].

When you're finished modifying the file, close Notepad so that it won't cause the game client any problems if it goes to modify the file itself the next time you run it.

Any questions, just give us a shout.

No. No, really. Don't. Resist the temptation.

Do not open the new production_Config.ini file while the game is running. If you do, the game client will cause your computer to explode and you'll need to buy a new new PC. Also Mark or Jonathan will Be Informed™ and one of them will track you down and shoot your dog.
