I have a shader problem
so my shader cache keeps spiking despite the fact i deleted the cache and i increased the cache size to 100 gb through the control panel and when i run into a lot of mobs my game freezes which then cause me to die

" Which cache? What control panel? Path of Exile's in-game metrics refer to its own shader cache. For example, if you're on Windows and use DirectX 11, the relevant files would be found at the directory below; %appdata%\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheD3D11 I certainly don't know of any control panel that would interact with this in any way; nor do I know of a way of governing the size of it. From your post I'd be very concerned about exactly which cache you've been interacting with. You should absolutely revert the cache size as 100 GB is frankly an asinine size, which could ironically make whatever the cache is for perform significantly worse as searching through the cache will now take far longer than it normally would.
