Item Drops Not Displaying on PS5 (Even with No Filter)

Hello Grinding Gear Games Support Team,

I’m writing to report a serious issue I’m encountering while playing Path of Exile on PlayStation 5.

Even after disabling the loot filter (set to “No Filter”), item drops are not displaying at all on the ground. I can see loot beams (light pillars) indicating an item has dropped, but no item names or icons appear, and I cannot pick anything up.

Here are some details about my setup and what I’ve tried:

Platform: PlayStation 5
Language: Traditional Chinese (繁體中文)
Loot Filter: Tested with NeverSink-2semi, NeverSink-soft, and “No Filter”
Issue: Loot beam appears, but no items are visible or interactable.
Tested Fixes Attempted:
• Changed loot filter to softer settings and to “No Filter”
• Switched in-game language to English (issue still persists)
• Restarted game and console
• Moved around the drop area and tried interacting (pressing pickup button), but nothing appears or can be picked up

This issue makes it impossible to progress normally since I can’t see or collect dropped gear or currency.

Could you please advise on how to fix this, or whether this is a known bug on the PS5 client?

You've toggled item highlighting off. Check your options and shortcuts.

For some unknown reason, GGG turns off highlighting (ignoring your settings) every time you create a new character.
