Controller Targetting Issue on Bosses

When using a PS4 controller to lock onto Xesht and the Bone Tyrant bosses, the game appears to think the boss is about a quarter to a third of the screen distance to the right of the boss' centre mass/the area that needs to be hit to deal damage. For a projectile-based build, this results in the vast majority of attacks missing, especially for Xesht due to greater mobility of both player and boss during the encounter.

I haven't noticed this issue with any other bosses yet.

It may not factor in, but I also have an ultra-wide monitor that is supported by the game, and so I'm wondering if targeting is factoring screen width.

Given that it doesn't affect any other enemy model as far as I'm aware, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the model's 'centre' being positioned above the 'play area' rather than close to the ground and this centre is where the game thinks the target is.
