Bug collection List regarding crossbow/mercenary/general gameplay
Greetings.
Ive been noticing an alarming increase in bugs regarding the crossbow, certain mercenary ascendancies and general gameplay over the last couple patches. I have now collected for a while and will share the most gamebreaking bugs that are currently affecting the game, in hopes someone at GGG might see it. - Witchhunter: Sorcery ward no longer dynamically updates its shield value, only when damaged or when unspecced from, therefore no longer including equipment changes or modifiers to armor/evasion like wind dancer. -Ice shards: the ability sometimes becomes randomly unable to crit. this bug has been confirmed by a GGG worker, but im still putting it here for others to see. -fresh clip: fresh clip no longer works in shockburst rounds/ armor breaking rounds (sheet shows no increase in damage) but still works in rapid shot. i dont know what other skills are affected by this. -gas grenade: gas grenades have an unusually long timer before they activate, if multiple grenades are being fired, it can be up to a second difference between the first and last gas grenade activating. despite some grenades going off later. all of them will dissipate at the same time, resulting in a significant loss of ability duration and skill speed value. -gas grenade: in combination with the bug described above, gas grenades might not trigger at all. ive seen plenty of instances where i was done with a fight and then suddenly saw a lone grenade pop that got fired well over 10 seconds ago. this mainly seems to happen when you walk towards the bugged out grenade. -double tap bug: sometimes when using an ability on a crossbow, a second attack will be fired despite only clicking once. this is especially problematic for grenades as one attack can cost you 2 charges, and for abilities with low ammo count. -Hitbox jank on big bosses like the skeleton in hidden grotto and the fire titan in titan valley: on some occasions, it can happen that bolt abilities fail to properly connect to the hitbox of the boss despite clicking on them (shockburst rounds not creating the pulsing circle) -Dead body bug: on some rare occasions, merc (or any other character) will try to break free from the control of the player and turn towards an enemy that has recently been killed, to then fire a shot into that direction without any input being given. -Crossbow jam: sometimes during interactions with strongboxes, you might become unable to shoot bolt based abilities from the crossbow unless reloading the skill or switching to a different one. -grenades not registering on any targets: this is a pure gut feeling that i havent been able to consistently test and reproduce, but sometimes it feels like grenades fail to properly register impact zones on enemies during mapping, resulting in a significant dps loss. Misfire/input conflict for rapid shot: on occasion it happens that if you interact with objects like your stash in the base while having rapid shot equipped, the crossbow will randomly start to fire by itself after clicking the stash (with the stash window already being open). -on death effects: certain on death effects like the mushroom enemies on decay will sometimes not burst right after death, but randomly if some time has passed (well over 10 seconds)/ the body has been approached. this bug is similiar to the gas grenade bug i described above. -natures calling: when equipping new equipment, it may happen on rare occasion that you end up with a naked character modell. i have more bugs on my list, but these are the ones that i deem most severe and are in need of fixing.
