I suspect this could be a game bug, but there's some troubleshooting we can do to try to prove or disprove that. Post a WinMTR log created after having had the issue with the most recent zone. Make sure you get the IP address from the log file for PoE 2, not PoE 1.

I'm glad I'm not the only one...
I'm play on the CA Server / Region

POE2

I smashed through Act I and Act II on May 26th 2025. Completely smooth, really fun, as it should be... Then I started Act III on May 27th 2025 and everything just stopped :( Network tanked. I was seeing latency spikes from 300 - 3000+ every 5 - 10 seconds. Game was/is completely unplayable. And my entire screen started flickering... Like the background brightness was bouncing all over the place...
I tried changing every known video setting... no change. ( Out of game everything is perfectly fine. Other games [of similar graphic intensity, no issues at all]

Other things i tried:
* Restart
* Cold boot
* Full network restart
- Started with my inbound internet connection Fiber ONT, Router, all switches.
- Updated Windows and all possible Drivers
- Disabled / killed all unnecessary applications
- Ran a constant Ping test to my router while doing testing 2ms-10ms for the
entirety of testing

I cannot find anything on my network or in my rig that changed or is causing the issue. I have 170+hrs in game and really would like to play more...

I'm open to suggestions

sorry for the late responce.
This is an update to my post this morning.

I logged back in and changed from Act III > Act II. ?! Game play was smooth as butter. Played for 30mins, perfect game play! Used a waypoint and went back to Act III, game was unplayable?! :( Something is wrong with Act III right now... Crazy lag spikes... In town and any other map way point in Act III.

Also, the screen flicker weirdness... So, I think something changed in either the latest Win11 update and or Nvidia drivers... I turned off the Engine Multithreading option ingame. The flickering stopped completely, and the slight every 5 frames or so rubberbanding / loss of frame went away too :)

P.S. Yes, I did Act III testing after these Options changes... No change. Still unplayable.
