Account email can be set to non-existing email.

I changed my email associated with my account about half a year ago or something. Later i realized, that i gave my email the wrong domain. It is currently set to [Removed by Support]

I know for sure, that whatever the exact user name is in front of it, the email, as it is currently entered there, cannot possibly exist, as the domain is owned by my company and we have no email address that would fit.

Now i need to unlock my poe1 Account (poe2 works fine) because i moved a few times between Switzerland and South Korea which locks my account every time. But i cant, because i cannot receive the email, that is sent to verify myself and i also cannot change my email address, because for that i would also have to verify my old one.

If you require us to do that you should also verify the new email-address when we change it, which did not happen.

This is rather frustrating because support still seems to be flooded with requests and I haven't heard from them in 2 months after they requested almost my full transaction history. I completely missed legacy of phrecia and now i fear that i might also miss the new poe1 league.

I am aware of that. Still i would like to vent my frustration somewhere. But I got a reply today, so, thanks.


Anyways. The underlying issue is still a bug on the webpage, as such i think the post (minus my "rant") is still in the correct place. As the email i accidentally set never existed meaning the verification process either did not happen or was not completed and the email was still changed (so it's either a bug or a missing feature).
