No slot to put Waystone on tower map to run it

Hey guys, I've ran about 3 towers so far no problem. All of sudden the last 2 tower maps I've found no longer have a map slot allocated to put a waystone in to run the tower.

I have pictures but now sure how to add them to this.
You can see the path from the maps surrounding the tower going into the tower and where there should be the little white circle you can click on to put a waystone in, there is nothing.

Normal maps are still working fine. Not sure what's going on
