Delwin caused me to die

After fighting a whisp infused rare Delwin kinda just stands there and you can hit A (on a controller) to talk to him. That is also my "pick up items" button.

I was trying to pick up a t5 quarterstaff at his feet, but instead it brought up his little chat box about whisps. At the same time a random monster came around a corner and hit me. I couldn't exit out of the chat box fast enough to attack, and you cannot attack while "chatting" with an NPC. This caused me to die.


GGG could you please change this somehow? Maybe Delwin has NO chat options while there are monsters within a certain radius, or maybe make it so we can attack to get out of the chat option to save our skins?
