There was an error with the upcoming update of POE2 on Steam

Hi Support,

I can see a update in steam. However, There is a error after the update button clicked. And the error message is the downloading file was broken.

Also, I have checked the steam version and confirmed I am using the latest version. Second, I have checked my home network (ISP, DNS) and it is good.

Moreover, the bad news of me.
1. The verification function on steam cannot work because the update cannot be fully downloaded.
2. I tried reinstalling the game but it got stuck at the last 1%. Then, return the downloading file was broken

How much free space do you have on the drive you're installing to?

There is 1.32TB free space on my pc.

Are there any residual files in this folder?

If so, delete them

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\temp

I tried reinstalling the game (include the uninstall and remove the downloading file / tmp file )

And you can ask your team and check the file uploaded on steam server. If you are the staff / member.

Hopefully this gets sorted out

i have the same issue. no files in steam folder, game won't launch and when im doing a reinstall, its stuck at 99% and still "files are broken"
