With this unique equipped and then selected Eldritch Battery, despite gaining almost 1500 additional mana, my character doesn't gain any additional armour.

This is either a bug or the worst mechanical forethought and design of any game, especially one that had a predecessor of PoE1.

If my maximum mana increases so should my armour with this unique equipped.
