There's one thing we can give GGG credit for

They only did the entire PoE 2 thing and removed employees from PoE 1 on a league that was fun and good, like Settlers.

Can you imagine being stuck for a year on a league like Kalandra with all its nerfs and AN? That would be even worse than this.

I don't think it's a bad league but not a very fun one either
A fun league, but far from being fun for 11 months. There are other leagues I might've actually revisited a few times within an 11 months span. I'm not a good player, nor do I rush everything, but in Settlers league, you more or less experienced everything there is to experience within a week or two.

A perfect league to run for a long time, would be an endgame/atlas based league. But we all know they stopped making those the moment PoE2 split away from PoE1.

On the flip side i would of taken 3.14 harvest with todays atlas and endgame and i wouldnt make a peep. Id still be grinding out crazy 8 mod items on the regular.

I don't really get this whole obsession with vanilla Harvest. When ONE mechanic is/was so much better than everything else, every gameplay decision you made had to include Harvest. It made the game monotonous and the gameplay one-directional.

I'm not saying it wasn't fun for a league or two (Harvest+Ritual), but how the hell would they build upon that? No items, no mechanics, no progression system, no rewards could ever measure up to Harvest.

We have this sandbox of a playground with tons of choices, options and directions, and people want to boil it down to one strat centered around one mechanic and I really don't get it. It's one of the things people hate(d) about PoE2; go Breach or go home.

Try to do any "juiced end game strat" and not use Delirium. Good luck.

Chris warned us that Harvest as presented in the league would NOT go core, even before it started. All the "surprised Pikachus" out there got what they were told to expect, nothing less. =9[.]9=

I never use Delirium, hate it with a passion - and never have any problems making my mirror(s). But if you think the distance between Delirium and other mechanics is the same as vanilla Harvest versus i.e. Blight, you're allowed to. And good luck to you too :)
