[Suggestion] PvP Invasions & Arenas in PoE 2 - Inspired by Elden Ring

We already have a form of invasions in PoE — Rogue Exiles show up in maps as mini-bosses. But they’re just AI. What if we took it further?

Inspired by Elden Ring and FromSoftware games, let Path of Exile 2 introduce real PvP invasions and dedicated arenas:

Invasions: Opt-in system where players can invade others’ maps or zones as a “Rogue Exile” for real-time PvP. Defenders earn rewards for surviving; invaders get loot or PvP tokens for victory.

PvP Arenas: Structured 1v1 or team battles using actual builds. Compete in ranked ladders and earn cosmetics or PvP-focused gear.

All completely opt-in to keep the experience fair and fun.

This would add a skill-based layer to PoE while preserving the core ARPG experience.

PVP invasion isn't a new idea by From.

Player killers (PKers) existed in D2 long before that.

If I remember correctly, there was a strong demand for this when PoE was new but PVP never really was popular with devs or the population.
There were PvP invasion events in PoE In ancient days. Its nothing new even for PoE.
