Its not exp loss, its grind.

Everyone is frustrated, xp loss is getting targeted super hard.

Xp loss is not the issue. Xp loss gives levels meaning.

The issue is that xp scaling falls of so insanely hard, that the game becomes a bonkers grind that isn't even fun anymore. Combined with some mixture of lack of reward for time traded, entertainment value.

Players measure by level. In most games level cap is a given, the general playerbase will not realize that poe has a different viewpoint on level cap.

Players have an expectation that is not unreasonable. Poe wants its own handle on this, which is also fine.

This angle/handle needs to be made clear, somehow. I argue it should be intuitive.

If xp simply scaled; and the pinnacle of the game was met with level 100... then no one would have an issue. Unless, it took fucking forever... for ever ever? eva eva?

Of course they made so to keep people in game but scaling is what it needs.

From level 96 and above is almost impossible levelling. You need to become prisoner of the game to see a difference in xp bar.

If they scaled it from level 1 to 100 then it would be more difficult to go from 55 to 60 but it wouldn't take ages leveling from level 90-100.
