Yet another filter issue
Loot filter(s) not showing up in options.
So I've read I don't know how many threads on loot filters and watched too many videos. I've created 2 of my own filters on filterblade and followed 4 more online. My profile online shows all 6 of those are being followed on my account. I have both of the created filters in the appropriate ...MyGames/PathofExile folder according to all these threads. Still nothing shows up in game. When I click the folder in the options menu it shows that they are there, but nothing happens. I saw one person (in what appears to be the same situation) say they fixed it, but it was a coding error. Didn't post how though. I would love to have this fixed if anyone can help. Loot is getting really bad post campaign... Last bumped on May 16, 2025, 4:06:11 PM

Exactly which league is your character playing in? My first thought would be that your 2 filters are general use filters, and so will not be displayed in the game client if you are playing in any flavour of the Ruthless game mode (e.g. I'm currently playing SSF Ruthless).
If that isn't it, could you show us a screenshot similar to mine? ![]() It is specifically of the drop-down after the loot filter name. You have been using the website to follow online filters - you have no interest in any files stored locally in a subdirectory of Documents\My Games. I have no filters at all in that location. Your profile is private, so we're unable to view any characters on it. At the risk of asking an annoying question... is that definitely the Path of Exile account you use in-game? Having some issues trying to post a screenshot, but I'm just doing regular old PoE1 Settlers.
One of my screenshots is similar to yours, but I only have a "None" and "<Default>" option. I'm good with losing my 2 filters. Four of the other filters were Neversink's. I've deleted and re-followed only one. The 1Regular-Softcore one. Last valid version 3.25.3e. I'm going through Steam if that helps. My Steam login matches my PoE login. I'll see if I can make my profile public if that helps. I've noticed that none of that matches anything on either the PS or the PC. |

Soooo, long story short, my Steam ID was not the same as the PoE ID. I linked the 2 and filters worked for the new ID.
Sucks cause I'm essentially losing everything on the old account. But I think I managed to make them both public... At least it's showing different stuff from last time. |

If you've linked accounts and lost access to things as a result, I would suggest that you consider emailing support@grindinggear.com and asking them to reverse the link.
If you were logged into the website on a different account, all you had to do was log out of the website and log in using the other account. There was no need to perform any such account linking & there was thus no reason to lose anything as a result. I really wish you'd have kept us in the loop rather than just trying that yourself. I honestly had no idea it would be another separate account kind of deal. My fault for sure. I did email support and it sounds like Rob will be able to help, but it's been 24 hours and nothing new.
Both of these accounts were pretty brand new with only 1 toon on each. All my years have been on PS4. The only thing I want/am asking for is my transactions to be on the account that filters actually work. No real big losses, but I'd rather not lose that purchase money if I don't have to, ya know? |
