Ritual killed - character bricked

I was in a ritual that was near a checkpoint. I died. On respawning I'm right at the edge where I'm untouchable, everything is black, and I can't do anything. Normally I'd be teleported INTO the ritual as I approach it, but I'm past that zone apparently.

Logging out and back in puts me at the exact same spot. As far as I can tell, my character is now frozen in time and effectively done.

Edit: Figured out that the Portal button still worked and I could click on it, if not move toward it. Taking the portal back to the hideout and re-entering back to the waypoint resolved the issue.
