Frustrating and possibly build ruining: Two different weapon sets cannot take different routes to the same point.
Problem 1: Weapon Sets do not allow you to pick different attributes along the highway for the same point. E.G. Weapon Set 1 needs STR/Dex, Weapon Set 2 needs Int, but you cannot set a single attribute point to give str/dex to Weapon Set 1 and Weapon Set 2 at the same time. Potential Solution: Take two different routes to get to similar nodes so that attributes are kept separate. Except this is met by problem #2. Problem 2: Weapon Sets cannot overlap on the same node if they take two different routes. Example: I want to get Flash Storm by coming in from the bottom to avoid the weapon damage nodes on my spell, while I come in from the right to get the weapon damage nodes and less attributes on my weapon. I have extra points in both Weapon Set I and Weapon Set II, but the points in the Flash Storm Node CANNOT overlap if the Weapon Sets took two different routes to get there, effectively forcing me to waste points on my Spell set getting Weapon Attack Damage because I can't get get Flash Storm or Lightning Rod coming in from the bottom. Potential Solution: Allow Weapon Sets to criss/cross on the tree and share points when necessary.
