Account problem linking to my Steam account

I have created a GGG account and linked it to my steam account.. did that years ago.
When I started playing POE2, I attempted to log into GGG again and had to relink my POE2 GGG account to steam. At this time, it would not let me log or create a new account as I was using same email. I now have 2 different apparent accounts listed under my original email. I would like to merge them into the original account so I can actually use the site properly. Please help with this issue.

i have looked at the web site and the help FAQ's and it did nto give me a good area to look into to fix this issue. thank you for clarifying where to talk to.
