Please read this Support Team! Please...Cannot Log In with Specific Character
I’m experiencing an issue where I cannot log in with one specific character in POE2. Every time I try, I receive an error. However, I am able to log in with other characters without any problems.
My character name is BigB_Maru Here are the troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried: -Created a new character and played for several hours -Played in local co-op mode using two controllers -Changed the gateway -Changed the language -Verified game files via Steam -Reinstalled the game -Cleared the game cache -Originally played via Steam, but also tried using the standalone launcher -Followed all suggestions from the official troubleshooting guide -Changed the hideout -Changed purchased MTX (cosmetic skins) -Opened a new portal with a different character I have tried the troubleshooting steps ten times already, but I keep getting directed to them over and over again, despite the issue not being resolved. Even when I contact SUPPORT, all I receive are template responses, which is extremely frustrating and disappointing... Despite all these efforts, the problem persists. The affected character is level 94, and I’ve been really enjoying playing with it. I don’t have the motivation to start over with a new character. Last bumped on May 10, 2025, 3:14:37 PM

I tried several new approaches based on past threads, but unfortunately the issue hasn't been resolved.
-Updated the NVIDIA driver -Deleted cache files -Deleted shader files -Switched shaders -Changed shader cache size I also contacted SUPPORT and received a reply, but they said they’re unable to assist with this issue. I've been spending this week trying to fix this bug. I've been experimenting with the "NEW BUILD" to see if I can log in, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get past it anytime soon. The epic background music on the startup screen only adds to the sense of despair. it's a brilliant touch! |
