Partial PC Shutdown (Worried about file corruption and PC damage)

Over the past few weeks, I have not been able to PoE2 for more than 2 maps, before my entire PC will freeze and partially shutdown.

What I mean by partially shutdown, is that all my peripherals turn off, screens go black, it SOUNDS like the PC has shutdown, but the fans still run and some lights remain on, requiring a hard reset/shutdown (hold power button)

Also worrying, is that after restarting the PC I will sometimes get a "black screen of death" where windows does not load properly (due to the abnormal shutdown) and simply gives a black screen with a cursor. (I have to use task manager and run a command prompt through it to properly shutdown and reset using shutdown /s /f)

This issue has ONLY happened with PoE2, in fact this is the first time in my 20+ years of gaming I have ever seen this type of shutdown or black screen of death.

I have attempted using PoEuncrasher, with very mixed results.
