Locked out of the game

I'm currently experiencing what I assume is a bug.
I completed the trial of chaos and prior to entering the trial master area I decided to portal out to my hideout to get something. When I portalled back to the trial area it locked me into the load scree. I'm seeing the trial of chaos load screen with the two cogs turning and it's stuck there. I've left it for half an hour and still stuck. I've turned my PlayStation off and on again but it just returns me to the same screen.
Totally locked out.
Is there a work around for this or is my lvl 93 character effectively gone?
