item dissapearing after skill reallocation

So i lost a 2 handed maxe permanently from the game after the following steps

So i think i found a bug in the game.
1.) i had 2 x twho handed maces equipped
2.) i met all the stat requirements.
3.) i went to doryani for respeccing my character
4.) pulled all my skillpoints (dropping below the minimum and also removing the skill giants blood)
5.) the offhand weapon dissapeared from the game completely.

is this how its supposed to wrk (i relogged, looked in my stash etc,the weapon is jsut gone) (edited)



Any help would be welcome
