Ravenous Doubts and Consuming Questions Totally Broken

Acolyte of Chayula Monk using:
-Ravenous Doubts ("Mana Leech recovers based on other Damage Types damage as well as Physical damage")
-Consuming Questions ("You cannot Recharge Energy Shield. Mana Leech effects also Recover Energy Shield")
-Ring with "Leech 4.37% of Physical Attack Damage as Mana"
-Skill tree Mana Leech and Siphon results in 10%, 25%, and 10% "Increased amount of Mana Leeched"

Result? Totally bricked play with no energy shield recharge and single digit (~5 to 7) energy shield leeched on hit with attacks doing ~2500 damage per hit. That means I'm leeching less than 0.2% instead of what my skill gem page says is 7.38%

Added amulet with Voracious ("20% of Leech is Instant") with no noticeable change, probably because 20% of nothing is still nothing.

This totally broke my build and wasted all my time leveling.

Well hell if I have a build I want to do in the future then check the forums first to make sure you didn't just waste multiple divs and 100k gold respecing my character. Just bricked my monk as well.

Was hoping they fixed it and not made the node worse.

I still dont think this is fixed, I just made a chayula monk around this as well and the ES leech feels really weak. I have a nearly 20k dps ice strike before all the passives stack up too.
