7 Day Chat Ban - Review and Appeal

Hello GGG Support,

I recently received a 7-day chat ban on my account: alldaygaming#5480. I have already sent a detailed email to the support team providing clarification and context around the situation.

I would sincerely appreciate if my case could be reviewed when possible, as I am hoping the mute can be lifted. I understand the importance of maintaining a positive environment and I’m committed to moving forward in a better way.

While I wait, I just wanted to mention — I don’t really mind not being able to chat in global, but I would still like to be able to trade and continue playing normally.
Right now my posted items aren’t showing up, so if that could be looked into in the meantime, I would really appreciate it.

Chat bans also being trade bans was a deliberate change GGG made a few years ago.

It happened because there was a group of players who didn't care about chat beyond the dopamine hit they got from dozens of people replying 'praise' when they posted an ascii art "le toucan" to chat.

GGG was determined to stop them, and since waiting until doubled each time chat bans reached long enough to effectively be permanent apparently wasn't good enough they went semi-nuclear and added DMs to the chat ban in order to disable trade.
