Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1) - "Exception: Out-of-range adapter index" since May 1st update - Forum

I've been happily playing on Linux under Steam for months. Since the May 1st update, the game won't start at all, putting up a large black window between my two monitors, and a small window which says "Exception: Out-of-range adapter index"

I've made no operating system changes in between working and not working, and I'm fairly sure Steam didn't update anything.

Any ideas how this can be fixed I would very much welcome. I am missing
