SKIN TRANSFER; Make It Obtainable In-Game
I don't think I need to go into much detail about what my point is here. I think that the skin transfer item should be obtainable for free in the game.
It feels very bad that I cannot use a skin for a weapon or armour piece that I've obtained in game on a piece I'm using without spending real money. I can see why such a system would be in place for skins/items you've purchased with real money, but POE2 doesn't have a system like that seeing as every purchased skin can be applied whenever. Transmogrification is a big part of multiplayer videogames that players love and just adds to the enjoyment of the game to everyone. Having it locked behind a paywall excludes a lot of players from this because we don't see the value in spending money on it. Many players are already hesitant to invest in microtransactions, and making this one a free feature would make the game more appealing and open to newcomers. Also by making this feature free, it would allow for more customization and creativity in the game. Thanks for reading, have a nice day! -Sharp Last bumped on Jun 17, 2025, 3:14:28 AM

I fully agree. Paying real money for transmogs would be downright predatory by any pay-to-play game's standard, and I'm on the fence as to whether making the game free-to-play actually makes it okay. If transmogs do remain a paid feature, they should at least be permanent additions to your cosmetics menu the way every other cosmetic item is. And still 6 coins each, since you're just paying for cosmetic flexibility rather than for an all-new look only attainable by paying real money. It's actually upsetting enough to me that I'm boycotting the mtx store until it changes.
