Make trader/seller personal stashes and tabs viewable by default- a great improvement on trading
I know a lot of people are requesting an internal auction house, as welcomed as that would be I think there are several simplistic (by comparison) changes that could be made that would make trading and build crafting easier whilst encouraging more player engagement.
When you enter someones hideout to trade for a pair of boots that are on the trading site, make it so both stashes (both buyer and sellers) are viewable. A level 60 infernalist might find several pieces of gear from the level 90 infernalist they are buying their boots from, just sitting in the sellers stash. Even though the items aren't priced the buyer can make an offer on those items. This solves multiple issues at once. - More interactive trading - Options for bulk trading - Finding value in items - lessening the overall amount of trading needing to be done There's a lot of fun that could be had with being able to view other players stash tabs as well. Like have stash tabs dedicated to gambling. One player can have a stash tab full of unid'ed rares that people can buy and gamble on. Of course there would also be an option to hide tabs as to not get pestered on high valued items. For instances where there are multiple players in one hideout just allow for placement of multiple stash boxes, one for each player. Sorry to necro the thread but I just wanted to say how great it is to have the changes to trading we got. A lot of what I wrote now exists and I couldn't be happier. The new trading system is honestly what I always hoped and dreamed for with Diablo 2.
Big props to GGG for listening to the community and altering their vision to give us such an incredible patch, that plays like a free AAA game expansion. It's absurd how good this game is getting at this pace, I've never seen anything like it. |
