One more change Simulacrum desperately needs (respawn related)
I'm hoping the nerfs to delirium percentages in Simulacrum in 0.2.0g help the activity be more approachable, but there's one more change needed that has to have been an oversight when the ability to respawn was added.
Please make the current round start over when you die and respawn. It might not be as big of an issue to respawn mid round in the bigger arenas, but in the extremely narrow and short arena (you know the one) dying once means your entire Simulacrum run is over. You respawn in the middle of a massive pack of ads with no way to dodge through them and no time to get an attack in before you're swarmed and instantly dead again...5 times in a row until you're booted back to your hideout. If you're worried about players farming this for XP (which I have a hard time believing anyone would have any desire to do because completion rewards have higher value than XP) then make it so XP gain turns off for that round after you die. Hell, make it so XP gain turns off for the rest of the run after you die. Anything is better than a respawn and instant death loop that ends your run. Last bumped on May 1, 2025, 3:39:37 PM
