why do you think most of us feel like its bad to fight bosses for long GGG ill answser it for u

as I sate here most people hate the bosses and it shows when we all had to fight them without out one shot builds people 24/7 just wanting to be carried though them because its so unfun , This is amazingly bad for the game if the bosses are one of the aspects we just want nothing to do with \

Lets take a look at why the fights become unfun \

Bosses HP Are mostly ok even the ones that are tanky the problem falls in that as the fight goes on the more aoe that gets put down the more the player has to click and think and have the chance to mess up and get just blasted from one of the MANY MANY boss abilities that just one shot u, ALOT OF TIMES its legit 90% of the area and the other % you go in your still fucked \

Bosses with abilities that wind up and wait and wait wand wait then hit you is just terrible unless you guys add more visuals to the abilities

If there was a way to strip bosses out of maps without losing everything else on the node, Id use it. In the mean time I burn a T1 map on a boss node, then actually go do another map - poof now the boss is gone from the node I originally wanted to travel through.
Yep. GGG wants us to fight the final boss longer than when you explored the whole map to get to him.

Unfortunately, they see this on the perspective from hardcore players out there and not from a casual gamer. A hardcore player has all the time in the world to play this game 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hardcore players can beat bosses in just a few seconds, hands tied behind their back and blindfolded.

Everything GGG does in POE2 is for and tailored for hardcore players ONLY.

The vision.

Im fine with long fights, but undetectable 1 shots deleting exp means id rather not engage in that content.
the point that hits me is being one shoted even on tanky builds...

I read these threads and for the life of me I can't wrap my head it. What bosses are you guys fighting?

I am playing what is supposedly one of the weakest classes in the game and even then not a "meta" build. I'm not a hardcore player by anyone's definition. My kit is standard rares worth maybe a couple divines in total:

Here I am clearing 10 T15 boss encounters the longest of which took ~20 seconds:

Here I am killing Zarohk in 46s for my final Ascendancy points:

I think to this day the longest boss encounter I have faced was Doryani at the end of Cruel campaign and that took me just over two minutes.

How about precursor tablets that remove bosses in the radius?
I like fighting the bosses, especially the difficult ones.

What I never like is difficult 'souls-like' boss + limited attempts. Then I stress out about losing entry fee/reward and optimize the fun out of the fight (1-shot the boss). But now we have a decent middle ground for that with respawns in maps and t0 pinnacles having unlimited attempts.

I'd also like to know what map bosses people are struggling with. They only have 5mil hp and I can't think of any with aoe that gets out of hand.

The only map boss that's truly annoying for me is the druid because of that teleport, and probably balbala but she's suitably rare

Bosses are the best thing about this game, they should be available in every map
