Killed expedition boss in 1 shot before it phases to 2nd phase and arena locked cannot exit.

As the title says I was doing difficulty 1 expedition boss. I killed the boss using blood hunt and it dropped its loot but the arena stayed lock and I cannot exit it. when i try to exit via the narrow bridge there is a red highlight shown as if the fight is still in progress.
