Cannot switch characters between PC and Playstation on Website

I downloaded the game on Steam to try and progress my Playstation character on PC but after realizing this wasn't possible I just deleted the PC version. The issue is now I cant unlink the PC character i created and cant switch characters to my Playstation one which I'm progressing. I think this is causing issues where i cant direct whisper players on console from the trade website on PC.

Is there a way to unlink my Steam account or just delete the PC "characters" since they don't really exist anymore?
