When does Svalinn 5th socket enable?

Hi,

I am wondering why svalinn "cast on block" have not opened it's 5th socket at level 90?

If anyone knows, Id like to know

Something is based on item lvl, something on character lvl. Weapon attacks are probably based on character, item skills on item level. So you might need to get higher lvl shield. Try it out on some low lvl item.

Actually i believe 5th sox will be received at lvl 91

If its 94, it's quite a requirement.

Doesn't even enabled at level 94. The ilvl on my shield is 84.

At 110 int, it unlocks the usage of curses.

Maybe it unlocks the 5th at 150-200 int?

Sorry for necroing this thread, it may be a source of info for other people down the line.

Item skills are entirely based on skill level, and skill level is based on item level. I suspect that its impossible to get 5 sockets on such uniques due to their current ilvl ceiling.

There is a very low posibility that if you vall a lvl 19 item it will go to 20 and increase the socket to 5. But it's a very low %. 5 sockets = lvl 20 skills = lvl 90 for inbuilt skills (ascendancy, items).
