Wifes account, purchases and items DELETED during Steam unlink?

HELP! Support deleted an account during the unlinking process.

I requested a steam unlink back in December of 2024. I just received a reply April 16, 2025 with the unlink and a deleted account that I never once requested.

Two accounts this was regarding:
ITHROWtreez#8951
Denied#7982

I asked support to unlink my steam from my Wifes account - Denied#7982 and allow me to link it to mine. In the process, the entire account was deleted including multiple high level characters, >1k divines and top tier gear for 2 characters.

I can still play on my account (ITHROWtreez#8951). My Wife still plays this game and we paid for Early Access on both accounts - Why was the second account deleted when I never asked for it? How do we reclaim the account, all items that were on the account along with the characters?

I sure hope this isn't a situation where you say "Oh he paid for the game on this account, we'll just take everything they worked hard to get and take their $30"

Look.. I get that entirely and agree with that choice. I'm only bringing awareness to the issue so that other players enjoying game don't get screwed over and have hours wasted.

Sure i'd love a solution to this issue, but to be frank after reviewing the last few months of tickets in this thread -- I'm not expecting to see any resolve on this. What's 30$ and hours down the drain for your one of your players, right?
