No early access

Hello there, hoping someone can help since Support is absolute garbage and will just copy past the same response and then take forever to respond to your ticket and be zero help.
I received a steam key from a friend for early access. I redeemed it through steam POE2 is in my steam library and when I launch the game and try to play it says I do not have early access. I linked my steam account to the POE account here and tried the redeem key function on the site, but it states that it is an invalid key. Any help would be appreciated since support for this game seems to be lack luster. Last bumped on Apr 22, 2025, 11:51:30 AM

The Steam and Epic Client Keys should unlock the Path of Exile 2 Client in your Steam or Epic Library, these do not provide Early Access. | |
" steam key just unlocks the client on the steam platform, you still gotta buy the game or get the early access key. |
