[0.2.0f] Temporal chains mod in maps is overtuned.

It went from annoying in 0.1. to be utterly dangerous and unplayable with some builds in 0.2. 10% action speed would be more fair.

Its very painful, i would be willing to deal with it every now and then for the right reward.
The problem seems to be that the pool with possible aura debuffs on you seems so small that i see it on maps alot.

I curse enemies with temporal chains myself and while that makes it easier it feels like im playing the game in super slow motion.
Only help is taking reduced curse nodes making you slower through damage or more vulnerable otherwise.
+1

The Temporal Chains mod does not make the mapping experience better in any way. It does not introduce complexity, it only slows down the pace for the sake of slowing down the pace.

The only reason I can imagine for Temporal Chains being in the game is to value maps where you don't have Temporal Chains on it. If this is the case, then there is a fundamental flaw in the decision process.

I remember one interview where GGG said "Putting 'pay for convenience' in games is bad because it incentives the developers to make the game artificially inconvenient." I feel the same about Temporal Chains in the game - it does not make the game any better, in fact it actively makes it worse. Why have it in the game then? Is there any reasonable purpose on this modifier from the player's pov?

Some guy and some other green avatar guy gonna drop in and tell you how dodge roll helps with it and it's a key element of poe and is a good thing exactly the way it is right now.

On a serious note, it's a complete brick mod, instant destroy.
