Skills granted by abilities/passives loses gems

I learned about this after losing 8 vital gems to my build.

I'm bumping the bug - please make a fix that automatically transfers gems into your inventory upon losing the skill, or a similar fix.

I un-specced 2 skills and lost 7 support gems and a low level detonate dead which I cannot recover. I don't have any uncut gems left since they are so rare during leveling. My damage is bricked unless I go back and farm low level content for gems, which I'm not going to do do.

I'm bumping this bug and dropping the character for now.
