Trade is absolutely garbage in 0.2 ...

I never thought it could get worse than 0.1 ... but here we are.
entire pages full of price fixers listings.
you think you found a legit one, they don't reply or suddenly change their price.

Give us an instant buy button already..
Or get your heads out of your arses for once with that stubbornness and implement an auction house.

We aren't even socializing with trade.

Well current trade system is good for the bot farms.
Auction house is good for you and others like you.

They are getting more money from the bot farms abusing this trade system, than you and others like you.

Obviously one of the two groups will not get what it wants.
I will let you guess who will get screwed...

Up to GGG, if this is the hill they want to die on so be it.
Nothing surprises me anymore lately.

I feel the same frustrations as all players do lately.
And Jonathan and his team doesn't give a rats ass apparently.
It is up to the investors to cut off bad product. And this is a bad product.
I don't understand how it's so much worse than POE 1. . Like it should be the same but my god I cannot stand trade in POE 2. Message 15 ppl to buy an item at the price they are listing it. . Idk how many times people whisper me to buy something, I invite them and they just decline the invite. It's insane
An instant buy button (or better yet, an auction house) would fix so many of these issues.

1. Eliminates Price Fixing and Fake Listings
• No more people listing cheap items just to bait messages, then jacking up prices when contacted.
• Prices would reflect real, intentional listings—no more playing mind games.

2. Saves Time and Reduces Friction
• No waiting for replies. No whisper spam. No tab refreshing.
• See item → click buy → done. You’re back in the game instead of stuck in Trade Chat Purgatory.

3. Improves Market Transparency
• A visible, stable market lets players understand actual value instead of navigating a mess of hidden agendas and bait pricing.

4. Reduces Greedy Behavior
• Forces more honest pricing. Sellers can’t manipulate or delay buyers hoping for desperation overpay.
• Levels the playing field—less about hustle, more about fair trade.

5. Supports Casual and New Players
• New players won’t need a guide just to buy boots.
• Lowers the barrier to entry for engaging with builds, gear progression, and the economy.

6. Encourages Healthy Build Experimentation
• Easier access to key items = more room for creativity.
• No more abandoning builds just because trading for one mod is a nightmare.

7. Actually Makes Trading Feel Like a Game Feature
• Right now, it’s a third-party chore. An instant buy system makes trading feel like a proper, in-game experience—not a side hustle.

POE1 had a player base that slowly grew over time and got groomed into tolerating bs like that trade system. POE 2 is a fresh start with large part new players and system abusers and that crap just doesn't fly.
The downside of insta trade system is that bots could abuse the system even more with automation. Simple solution: limit trades per account for certain time period. That would probably hurt some players who trade a lot but on the bright side a lot more players would actively participate in selling some of their stuff.

Yo, fella.

A bot farm runs 100 accounts. A player "usually" plays on only one.

Do you think that limiting those farms to something like 10 trades per day will hurt them more, than limiting the single player?

This is complete non-sense...
