Cold snap, broken or lag?

when using cold snap on orbs it seems to "miss" ALOT and with the mana cost its a bit absurd.

either the orb target size needs adjustment or mana cost reduced... its very easy to go OOM on orbs when you are clearly clicking on them

perhaps lag or sync issues?
