Contagion Skill Gem Bug - Skill Gem becomes unsusable

While fiddling with my gems and weapons, I ran into an issue where I could no longer use contagion in my hideout. It currently requires 191 int. I have 214. It is set to both weapon skill sets for usage. However, I can not even place the skill in my usage slots anymore either. So, I attempted to make a new Skill Gem for Contagion and place it in my Skill Slots. It works. I then took it out and put it back in and the gem became unusable/broke again. I have tried replacing the new gem with the old gem, I have tried swapping it into a new skill slot. I have tried relogging. I have tried restarting the game. The gem is just straight bugged and unusable. I can occasionally get the gem to say something along the lines of "This information is not available right now".
