A simple question for developers and a statement

A simple question for developers: how many hours should a casual player expect to invest in a single character?
The issue isn’t just attention—it’s TIME.

I’ve spent 450 hours on one character, reaching level 91. My gear can’t withstand the damage output of enemies. To get better gear, you need currency.

Fine. The advice is to find a spot with three towers, use good modifiers, and farm. I’d love to—if my character could survive the onslaught.
Instead, I die and lose 10% of my experience, while a single map completion grants only 3% on average.
The grind is brutal. The game revolves around gambling, with crafting outcomes entirely random, even for aspects you can partially control.

Playing feels like a slog, not a joy. The design reeks of developer greed, not creativity. No reasonable person would intentionally craft a game this punishing.
The 0.2.0. patch further deviates from the game I originally bought, making it even less enjoyable.

Wait, this is ONE character? Sorry but this is not normal, you are either lying or you've been playing multiple characters. Hell, even 100 hours are too much for level 90.
