Silent Cave Map/Reward Bugged

Silent Cave map was to grant me an Atlas Passive book. I died on the first attempt, went back in and killed the boss mob (all mobs in the zone, in fact). The quest tooltip failed to update and the tooltip continued to display the quest as incomplete. I left the map and it since has been marked as Map Failed. No reward was ever provided.
