Softlock Loading into Zone

I entered the ziggurat encampment and now my game is softlocked loading into the zone. I restarted my game after a couple of minutes waiting and upon reentering my character it's still softlocked in the loading screen for the zone.

I have managed to fix my issue by switching to a different server area (from texas to cali in my case) but the zone still took a concerningly long time to load that I almost thought it hadn't worked. 1 or more full minutes shouldn't be needed to load a hub area, something is clearly wrong here.
