screenshotting in fullscreen exits fullscreen

had this issue since today, when i go to screenshot, the game freezes for a few secs then exits fullscreen to my other window and i can't screenshot. playing on directx 12 steam

Tried changing from DX 12 to vulkan or from Fullscreen to windowed Fullscreen?
