Soft locked from progressing, boss not dropping key

I just killed the consort in act 1 cruel but she didnt drop the key. everytime i reset she just dies immediately and does not drop anything. I have already killed Draven to get his key but now im soft locked out of progressing through the cemetary of the eternals quest. Please advise.
