How do you earn currency?

I tried chaos trials.. on avg its 1div an hour if lucky because its just 3 runs. mostly its 40exalts an hour.

Rituals - meh even with fully upgraded tree.

Mapping? it's an rng fest, either alching whites/augmenting blues/regaling blues, if it's decent gear for the top builds then exalt, if worth at least 40 ex then stash, if not then vendor and move on.
Or you can invest on arbiter fragments (5 divs per try) to try to get the hand scepter (25 divs at low roll), very risky though.
rituals can be huge but i had a terrible time with mob density not being enough to get items above 3k favours, defering items but then deferred items not appearing on the first ritual, forcing you to reroll and getting you locked again below 3k favours because the density is never enough, it's very grindy and frustrating.. and let's not talk about the 22k favours purple omen.
investing divs on audiences with the king to farm ingenuity then vaal with corruption omen for high ring rolls could also be a thing? again rng
and of course the easy ascendancy carry 1 div/player if you enjoy sanctum/temple
