Poe2 is anti loot. Why play?

Never thought I'd be ready to throw in the towel on PoE2 but the lack of good loot is killing the game for me. Which mass torturer did you hire to come up with the black hole resource sink known as the recombine? That crazy horrible RNG (redo the numbers for God's sake) just to get 2 and perhaps 3 attributes if you are lottery lucky. So tons of luck to not even have a great item.

POE1 is anti loot. Why play? Nearly every unique item is garbage. All dropped rare items are garbage. Currency is not loot. There is no loot hunt.

Why do POE2 players keep acting like all of these issues are somehow "new" for GGG? This should be as familiar to you as breathing.
