Encountered Error resulting in unplayability

I was playing my mercenary and traversed the ardura caravan going into act 2 after beating the hyena pack and boss and encountered this error: "Attempted to resume current action with an invalid skill: 1073741824 object: Metadata/Monsters/EtchedBeetles/SmallEtchedBeetleArmoured@32" I know that in coding you can throw exceptions so I assume this was what it was since the title on the warning box that populated said "Exception". It only happens now if I load into my mercenary to play the game.. then it abruptly crashes. Please help me fix this, Devs. I'd never used a mercenary and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.

An update to the issue: I wasn't sure how long it would take for my issue to be reviewed or resolved so I decided to make a brand new Mercenary and the same result. Every attempt to get to Act II results in a crash as soon as I finish Rathbreaker and board the Ardura Caravan.. Same exception thrown, same file listed in the error.
