With Gratitude: My Simple Feedback after almost 300h of gameplay.

Hello fellow exiles, With this feedback post I want first of all to send a huge thanks to the developers for creating such a beautiful and engaging game. I also want to thank them for listening to the community and addressing feedback so thoughtfully. It means a lot to feel heard as gamers and it really sets this company apart.

Now, a few thoughts after almost 300 Hours of playtime, having played every class and multiple times trough the campaign.

I know I’m just one voice among many. My feedback might not carry too much weight, but I still wanted to share a few suggestions and ideas in the hope that they can be considered or at least spark some discussion.

- 1. Build Diversity and Skill Gems:
I’d love to see more build diversity in the game, especially through the addition of new skill gems that represent a wider variety of fantasy archetypes. It would also be great if skill gems weren’t tied so rigidly to weapon types. This change wouldn’t necessarily unbalance the game, as power scaling is inevitable, but it would give us more freedom to express creativity in their builds.

- 2. Campaign Skill Gem Availability & Respec Costs:
During the campaign, I feel that skill gems drop rates could be increased. This would encourage players to experiment with different builds and playstyles more freely. Along the same lines, lowering respec costs (at least until the endgame) would remove some of the hesitation players feel when trying out new approaches. More flexibility would go a long way.

- 3. Support Gem Progression:

Support gem progression could feel a bit more rewarding and linear. For example, by the time you reach Act 2 or 3, it would be nice to start seeing level 2 support gems, especially through quest rewards. A specific example: the quest in Act 2 where you collect the three relics to reforge the horn.. rather than receiving three level 1 support gems, it would feel more satisfying to get level 2 versions instead.

- 4. Attribute Requirements for Skill Gems:

The current attribute requirements for skill gems can sometimes feel a bit restrictive. Slightly lowering these requirements could open up more build paths and allow for greater diversity hopefully without impacting balance too much.

- 5. Co-op Allies Name Visibility:
In co-op, it can be difficult to keep track of your party members during fights. I’d love to see an optional feature that displays character names above players, not necessarily tied to HP bars, just as a simple nameplate. It would really help with visibility.

- 6. Campaign Map Size:
Campaign maps size still feel a little too big in some areas or as you pointed out in some of them there isn't much going on and that contribute to this feeling of them being bigger, we are also still missing Acts 3, 4, and 6, and it’s a bit concerning how large those remaining maps might be. Slightly reducing map sizes or tightening progression could help maintain pacing and reduce fatigue without sacrificing content.

- 7. Rewards from Campaign Quests:

Some notable campaign quests could benefit from increased rewards. For example, receiving a lesser jewel orb that unlocks a third support gem slot would feel like a big and meaningful milestone. By the time players start facing major bosses, they already understand some of the game’s systems so letting them bring their builds online a bit sooner would enhance the experience.

Final Words of Appreciation..
Once again, thank you so much for everything you’ve done and continue to do. The game is incredible and it’s been a true pleasure to be a part of its journey. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and many of us genuinely appreciates it. Keep up the amazing work I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
