Campaign zones feel like mazes too often.
The campaign story itself is very fun, each story moment at least made me wonder what the next thing that would happen would be.
The zones are beautiful, but they are so large that every zone begins to feel like a bit of a nonsensical maze that takes almost half an hour to traverse if you're playing it at a fun engaging pace. (taking fights slowly, doing combos on normal mobs, etc.) This doesn't hurt at first, but it gets a bit immersion breaking by act 3 when you've been wandering down dead ends that take 2-3minutes to walk down, just to discover that you wasted 2-3 minutes for the 34th time. I personally felt like I was encountering over 4 long dead ends per story beat which really took the wind out of my sails to enjoy the campaign. Last bumped on Apr 19, 2025, 4:23:57 PM

Yeah, I don't know why aRPGs *have* to be so damn mazey, I actually find this frustrating at times also.
